FORT NEW DUSK — A reported break in of a local dockyard known for salvaging scrap off the coast occurred in the middle of the night on February 11th. The suspect made off with a single deactivated robotic model, manufactured by Chimera, that locals assumed was for diving down to collect scrap.

In the video, the suspect, a shark in black can be seen moving from the cover of shadows, and approaching a container meant to securely house robotic chassis when inactive. In seconds, they bypass both the magnetic and biometric lock, and can be seen escaping back into the shadows with one of the models in a fireman's carry.

The presence of these models, and the subsequent leaking of footage to the press of both the CCTV footage, and the concealed weaponry within, revealed that the unassuming warehouse was in fact an undercover government facility that was housing equipment and weapons far more dangerous than what the suspect made off with.

"A breach of security this extreme could have posed a serious risk to national safety. You really don't expect there to be black-ops, wartime weapons in a town this small." local officials say.

Third party private investigators are still looking into any potential leads or information that the suspect may have left behind.

"The speed that they worked at could only be explained by potential insider knowledge, it is without a doubt in my mind, a targeted attack. No damage to the building with forced entry, no casualties, injuries, or alarms. They had a window of opportunity less than three minutes long before the security rotating shifts would have noticed, and they seemed to make every second of it count."

The only clues that authorities have to go off, are trace samples of what appears to be orange paint left by their footsteps, but thus far have not found any conclusive leads from it.

"Without a serialized access code, those models are only worth their weight in scrap. Given that they knew exactly how to bypass those locks in seconds, it brings to question if the suspect also knows how to bypass the need for an access code, as that would pose a much larger risk to the field of commercialized robotics. Given the only footage of them was scrambled by some form of anti-facial recognition jamming, it doesn't seem implausible."

A reward of up to $200,000 is being offered for information leading to the suspect's arrest, with another $200,000 offered for the safe retrieval of the stolen property.

A semi-placeholder page for a bit of writing I wanted to do on my first and favorite model I've purchased and reskinned / reconstructed, as a kind of prototype template for how I want to document future projects like this. Everything subject to change whenever
